The transaction

F. Hunziker + Co AG, a Swiss family business run by the third generation, has been sold to Amapharm GmbH as part of a succession plan. Amapharm GmbH knows F. Hunziker + Co AG from its many years of co-operation and will work together with the management of F. Hunziker + Co AG to ensure a smooth integration into the Amapharm GmbH Group.

In recent years, F. Hunziker + Co AG has developed from a traditional supplier of sweets for the largest Swiss retailers into a specialized global supplier of functional confectionery products such as nutritional supplements and medical nutraceuticals. Due to the increasing demand for nutritional supplements and health-promoting products, Amapharm GmbH has decided to take over the long-standing strategic partner as of January 2024.
