Global law firm Freshfields is advising Danone on its acquisition of Huel, a leading player in complete, nutritionally balanced meal solutions.

The acquisition will enhance Danone’s presence in functional nutrition and extend its portfolio into the fast-growing Complete Nutrition space. Combining Huel with Danone’s scale, capabilities and global reach will accelerate growth, innovation and international expansion.

The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.

The Freshfields team is based in London and is being led by partners Sundeep Kapila and Andy Robinson, and associate Liv Nadan, with support from tax partner Peter Clements and people & reward partner David Mendel.
