Latham & Watkins has advised SPIE, the independent European leader for multi-technical services in energy and communications, on the acquisition of a 90% stake in ICG Group, a leading player in telecommunication infrastructure (5G Mobile and FttX networks). ICG Group generated a revenue of c. €230 million in 2023 and has approximately 720 employees. The current management team will remain shareholders and contribute to the business development.
With this acquisition SPIE will enter the 5G mobile telecommunications infrastructure market and strengthen its position in the fibre networks.
