Latham & Watkins advises Commerz Real AG on the acquisition of a wind farm in Finland

German Energy & Infrastructure Team represents Commerz Real and its Klimavest Fund on the transaction.

Latham & Watkins has advised Commerz Real AG on the acquisition of a wind farm for its Klimavest Fund. The onshore wind farm Lumivaara has been developed by project developer Energiequelle GmbH and comprises eight turbines with a nominal capacity of 45.6 megawatts (MW). The Klimavest Fund now owns a total of four operational wind farms in Finland with a total capacity of more than 170 megawatts.

The Latham team was led by Frankfurt infrastructure M&A partner Alexander Stefan Rieger and associate Joscha Müller, with associates Johannes Groß and Pascal Wagenführ.
