Global law firm Freshfields has represented leading investment banks as placement agents, as well as leading international investors, on a private placement issuance by Cheplapharm Arzneimittel GmbH’s of €390m senior secured notes due 2033.

Cheplapharm is a leading global specialty pharmaceuticals platform headquartered in Germany with a portfolio of more than 150 products covering more than ten therapeutic areas. It focuses on acquiring and then marketing well-established, off-patent, branded pharmaceutical products.
