New European investment banking boutique focused on technology companies and international M&A transactions - launching with ten sell-side mandates and an AI-native advisory approach

Berlin, October 13, 2026 - Frost Partners, a new independent investment banking boutique headquartered in Berlin, has officially launched. Founded by experienced M&A advisors Mirko Heide and Jan Wyrowinski, the firm advises technology companies, entrepreneurs and financial investors on company sales, acquisitions and growth capital transactions.

Frost Partners combines the experience of an established investment bank with the agility of a specialized boutique. In addition to its two founders, the firm has a dedicated team of employed M&A specialists and pursues an AI-native execution approach that combines traditional transaction expertise with the systematic use of artificial intelligence.

Experienced Founding Team - Ten Mandates at Launch

The founders bring together more than 35 years of investment banking experience. The team has advised on over 100 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding EUR 2.5 billion. At launch, Frost Partners is already advising on ten active sell-side mandates. The firm focuses on transactions with enterprise values ranging from EUR 20 million to EUR 300 million and EBITDA of EUR 2 million to EUR 15 million.

“With Frost Partners, we are setting new standards in Tech M&A advisory: independent, highly specialized, internationally connected and driven by genuine entrepreneurial commitment. Our ten active sell-side mandates demonstrate that our approach has already earned considerable trust in the market,” says Mirko Heide, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Frost Partners.

Clear Technology Focus and AI-Native Execution

Frost Partners focuses on three technology sectors:

  1. Smart City: Energy Transition, eMobility, EducationTech and AdTech
  2. Software & AI: SaaS, Data Analytics, Digital Platforms, Cybersecurity and Enterprise Software
  3. Industrial & DeepTech: IoT, Robotics, SpaceTech, European Resilience and Automation

A key differentiator is the integration of artificial intelligence into M&A execution while upholding the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality. AI-powered applications support market analysis, buyer identification and operational transaction processes. Protecting sensitive corporate information and complying with data protection requirements remain top priorities. This creates additional capacity for strategic advice and personalized client service. Responsibility for transaction strategy, buyer outreach and negotiations remains firmly with the firm’s experienced investment bankers.

“Tech M&A today requires more than traditional transaction expertise. Deep sector knowledge, international buyer networks and outstanding execution are critical. Our AI-native approach combines these capabilities with the technological opportunities offered by the next generation of M&A advisory,” adds Jan Wyrowinski, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Frost Partners.
